Worship School Registration for Private Lessons
Vision:
Show the love of Jesus to our community through worship; being led by His love.
Mission Statement:
Build up passionate worship leaders through Christ-centered teaching. Create a strong, vibrant family of musicians that love worship and empower them with the tools they need to be strong leaders.
What to expect:
Each weekly lesson will be 30 minutes. The student will be learning warm ups for their instrument, some music theory, a variety of worship songs, and will be focusing on their favorite songs. These skills are in preparation for them to lead worship in an ensemble.
Worship Nights will be held quarterly in an ensemble or larger band setting. The student will prepare for this during lesson and will be expected to rehearse with the ensemble at least once a week in the weeks leading up to the Worship Night.
Lessons and Worship Nights will prepare the student to lead more often at their church, for friends and family, for our surrounding community, in the recording studio, or get plugged into the strong music ministry at Trinity.
Registration:
Lessons for the summer semester will begin Tuesday May 24th, 2022 with an end of semester Worship Night planned for the Saturday August 13th.
Fees:
The recommended donation is $30 per 30 minute lesson or usually $120-150 per month. Tuition can be paid monthly or $300 per semester. Those who cannot afford all or part of the recommended donation amount may qualify for scholarships.
Donations can be made via this website or by check to Trinity Baptist Church. Please write “School of Worship” in the memo. A tax deduction can only be claimed for donations that exceed the value of services received.
The Fine Print:
Applicants will be notified whether or not lessons are available following the closing date for applications. Space is limited to the number of instructors and time slots available. Taking lessons previously does not guarantee that you will be granted a time slot during this enrollment period. The instructor(s) will make every effort to accommodate your schedule requests, however students are expected to be at all lessons during their designated time, and make-up lessons are not guaranteed. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances the instructor(s) will contact each student at least one hour prior to their lesson time and attempt to reschedule the lesson if canceled. Students and teacher are permitted one absence per semester without a make up lesson.
